About Us
Kildare and Wicklow ETB was established in July 2013 by the Education and Training Boards Act 2013. Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board (KWETB) provides a comprehensive range of education services throughout Kildare and Wicklow.
The Blessington and Baltinglass Centres cater to the needs of the people of all surrounding areas, covering Brittas to Knockanna and is not confined to people from Wicklow. Our programmes reflect the current and emerging knowledge and practices and will be relevant to the needs of the individual and our counties.
What we do:
Learning is for everyone, and people are never too young or too old to be educated
We provide a comfortable, relaxed, friendly and supportive learning environment
All our tutors and teachers have excellent knowledge and understanding of their courses

Our Centres
Baltinglass:
We are located to the rear of Scoil Chonglais in Baltinglass. We have been there since 2001. The Centre has its’ own independent access.

Blessington:
Our location on the N81 was once a secondary school (from 1950’s to 1993). We have been in operation as a Further Education Centre since 1995.
